Harvest Moon & Summer Equinox

The harvest moon (for the Northern Hemisphere) is just around the corner. It happens this Wednesday, September 26th. The exact time is 2:24pm central time.  Farmers of old used the light of the harvest moon to gather crops. It’s also the first full moon closest to the September Equinox (which happened last Sunday, September 23rd).
