Speaking of boats (I kid you not)

I almost forgot about this story. I came across it at Treehugger the other day. It’s entitled “Canoe Built From Disposable Chopsticks” by Lloyd Alter.

Now this is what I call recycling

This gentleman, with the help of 5,000 school children, built a Viking Ship out of five million old ice-cream sticks. He set sail for England on Tuesday after more than four years of work. Check out the article, “Ice-cream Stick Ship Sails for England” by Catherine Hornby, out over at Yahoo.
