Frozen solid

As I was looking back through some past articles yesterday, I came across this one that reminded of my current situation with my water pipes (first freezing and later breaking) at home  by this article.

Giant Crack in Africa Will Create a New Ocean” over at Live Science.

That article, led me to this interesting article entitled “The Ghost of Tulare: Reviving an Ancient Lake May Help Solve California’s Water Woes” by Judith Lewis at High Country News.

And of course, three’s (kids) is a charm

While I sit here with snow falling all around and the pipes in our house now imploded, what better topic to discuss than another natural disaster, the volcano (my eldest’s favorite topic). So here are a couple of articles on volcanoes.

A story that came out recently was “Deepest Explosive Eruption on Sea Floor: Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle Jason Images Discovery” over at Science Daily. How cool is that?

And if you need any more proof than Mt. St. Helen’s to show you how dangerous a volcano can be, then check out “Ancient Volcano’s Devastating Effects Confirmed” over at Live Science.
