Now that’s what I’m talking about

With my annual trip to Amphibian Night with the kids almost upon us, I came across this great article today in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, entitled “Nature Connection for Kids” by Margaret Gillerman. Now this is what I’m talking about.

Lets Go!

Local food

I just found out through my brother this weekend, when the kids and I were over there for Easter, that Local Harvest is coming to Kirkwood. There’s also an article on it entitled “Local Harvest to Expand to Kirkwood” at the Webster Kirkwood Times.

Good stuff!

Speaking of writing

I thought I would pass along the recent writings of my daughter Gwen. Seems there is a bit of an environmentalist in her as well. It’s entitled “Adventures of the Sea“. In fact, she will soon have her own blog (coming soon) entitled “Pause Pollution“.

Sorry for the small print. I’ll try and fix that tonight.

Sincerely-

Elements

Green Librarian

Okay, I just got my usual e-mail alert on the latest NOVA show and since it coincides with my calendar datebook entitled “The Photographic 2012 Engagement Calendar of The Elements: A Visual Exploration of Every Known Atom in the Universe” (Whew, that’s a long title) this year, I thought it was appropriate to go ahead and send out the link. The show is called “Hunting the Elements” at PBS tomorrow at 8:00pm central. Check it out!

Earth Day St. Louis 2012

I have to say that I was a little excited when I found out the article I wrote for Earth Day St. Louis 2012 was published by Yahoo! The article is entitled “One of the Nation’s Best Earth Day 2012 Celebrations will be in St. Louis” by yours truly at Yahoo!
