Beavers and the great blue heron, who knew?

So as I talked about in an earlier post (And then there was one), species go extinct everyday but somehow nature continues to thrive in spite of ourselves. In fact, just recently nature gave us a glimpse into one of the many mysteries of life.

It appears that beavers and herons need each other to survive. This according the article “Beavers Save Great Blue Heron Nesting Ground” by Stephen Messenger over at Treehugger. So while nature can be fragile (as I again said in the aforementioned post), it can also be resilient as we see in this article.

Sweet dreams!
