One if by land and two if by sea

When I came across this article tonight, it took me back to the book Horseshoe Crabs and Velvet Worms: The Story of the Animals and Plants That Time Has Left Behind by Richard Fortey that I read a while back. I just never would have put the words trilobite and beetles together in the same sentence. I only thought of them as marine animals.

The article is entitled “Trilobite Beetles are Happy Being on Land, Alive in the Present Day” by Bec Crew at the Running Ponies: Take an animal degree blog over at Scientific American.  The pictures of these beetles just make them more amazing.

Enjoy!
