So it’s time to say good-bye to our Christmas tree but first we will continue our family tradition of cutting off a sliver of the trunk to then placing it on our mantle for next year. We may even add to that tradition by making those slivers into ornaments.
Either way, we will still have to recycle our tree. Maybe we can do it the way they do in Reno, Nevada according to this article, “Nevada Goats Help Eat, Recycle Christmas Trees” over at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. My daughter has been talking about getting some goats. No, seriously she has!
