Sometimes it’s hard to believe how the weather in one part of the country or world can affect the weather somewhere else. Like how the wildfires up in Canada brought a haze down across the Midwest a couple of weeks ago. Of course, if memory serves me correct, the dust of Africa takes a trip across the Atlantic courtesy of the hurricanes headed west towards our east coast.
This article over in the New York Times only reminds us that perhaps that trip south isn’t over just yet. The article is entitled “Warm, Dry Weather Sparks More Wildfires in Western Canada“. The question now is will the haze return or will the rain make another showing? At this point, it’s just hot and humid. Stay tuned!
