Four down but two to come

Since the kids and I moved here, we’ve lost four trees. Now I’m someone who loves trees so this has been hard but fortunately we’re looking to replace at least two of them either in the fall or next spring. I’m a true believer in what this next article is all about.

It’s entitled “Does Being around Trees Help People Feel Good? Recent research has shown that trees clean the air, and our feelings” by EarthTalk. Hopefully this spring and/or fall will help clean the air, our feelings and maybe a little of the dust in the air.

Sincerely-

East to West

I recently mentioned dust in a previous post entitled North to South and so when this article came up, I thought why not? As the article mentions, dust plays an important role in our environment.

The article is entitled “Dust in the Wind: How Data Visualization Can Help the Environment” by Willie Shubert over at Scientific American. There’s also a great video from NASA on the journey of dust from the Sahara Desert across the Atlantic Ocean.

Speaking of dust, I think I have some in my left eye so let me just say good night and sweet dreams!

Sincerely-
