Four down but two to come

Since the kids and I moved here, we’ve lost four trees. Now I’m someone who loves trees so this has been hard but fortunately we’re looking to replace at least two of them either in the fall or next spring. I’m a true believer in what this next article is all about.

It’s entitled “Does Being around Trees Help People Feel Good? Recent research has shown that trees clean the air, and our feelings” by EarthTalk. Hopefully this spring and/or fall will help clean the air, our feelings and maybe a little of the dust in the air.

Sincerely-

Deep Ecology

I’m back after a long hiatus. I guess you could say I was doing a littleĀ  “Deep Ecology”. Anyway, here we go.

If you’re looking to become in a “Citizen Scientist”, then “The Christmas Bird Count is Under Way” by Dan Shapley at The Daily Green is for you. It has all kinds of great ideas. I took my kids out to go “Owling” a few weeks ago and we had a blast.

If you need a motivation, then check out “Cutbacks to Air, Water Monitoring Programs” by Leslie Wolcott over at Green Daily.

Sincerely-
